Glove Compatibility
A few things you should know about Vermont Glove merino glove liners:
1. The proper glove liner size will feel slightly big on your hands. This allows them to stay in the glove when you remove your hand.
2. The wool liners fit best if your glove is worn by itself to break in before using the glove liner.
3. If using your wool liners with a new pair of work gloves, the work gloves may feel tight at first. But don't worry, the leather gloves will relax to your hands and wool liners over the first few uses.
4. This makes them versatile, allowing you to wear your gloves with and without wool insulation.
5. You can keep a fresh pair of wool liners (or a few) on hand to swap out with the stinky sweaty ones. Or, y’know, just wash them now and again.

I am using these liners under a pair of form fitting leather motorcycle gloves. They fit well and provide extra warmth. I would buy again and do recommend. I wear a size 9 glove and purchased the medium glove liners.
The photo is the merino wool glove liner along side a Gerbing Vanguard 12 volt plug in heated glove I use when I ride my motorcycle in cold weather. The electric gloves work only for 30-45 minutes or until a little hand sweat makes them useless. I tried cotton liners, they were a little better but not much. Your merino wool liner work great. They allow perspiration to wick away without building up inside the electric glove. They are well made with no annoying seam-bumps. Thanks for the great product!
I use these in conjunction with other thermal gloves to help negate wind when gathering cattle on horseback or hunting stationary. Anything where little movement affects hands quickly. They take an already good set of thermal gloves to the next level. I haven’t used them with leather work gloves yet. I love the pride these individuals take in making their products in the United States and it’s worth the extra $5 or so compared to foreign alternatives. Be warned, these gloves do not seem super durable so try to always wear them as a liner, not a stand-alone. Overall these gloves have great dexterity and decent warmth to weight. These wool glove liners are the best ones that I own. The wool fabric is a dense, robust, sturdy weave. The size Small fits my hands almost perfectly... My finger length is shorter than average, but the wool liner glove fingers are not too long for me. My Vermont Glove leather gloves, size small, are too small to be worn over these liners. That's okay. I have other gloves that fit over my new wool liners. These liners are perfect for working or playing outdoors, in cold or cold & wet conditions

I’m a carpenter in New England. These are the best glove/ liners I’ve found. They could be warmer but then the dexterity would be less good. They seam very well made and durable. I’m quite pleased with the value and it’s great they’re US made.

I showed my gloves to a fellow rancher and he said he could get the same gloves at a box store for under $30. I told him I didn’t think so. These gloves are practically an heirloom. The craftsmanship and quality make you proud to wear them. My son uses them on his motorcycle.
Glove w/ liner - Maybe it will be easier to get my hand in the glove/liner as it get more use (break in) but currently it takes a bit of work to get the glove on or but the liner on then the glove.

This is my second pair that I bought as a backup and are better than the pair I bought two or three years ago. The knitting looks like they are now using a type of rib knit that is not on the older pair. The rib holds shape better and the looping and linking at the thumb joint seems better constructed than before. For once I think a company improved a product rather than make it worse in design.
Bought these gloves for my son-in-law. He uses them as biking gloves under a pair of leather gloves. He LOVES them! Good quality, good fit, nice and warm!
We have a small horse and donkey ranch so need gloves that allow us to work with our fingers easily regardless of how cold it is outside. We have tried numerous gloves that claim to do that, but these gloves are the best.
