These gloves are great. Have been doing a lot of chain sawing and tree work this winter. They keep my hands warm , yet still allow me to be mobile. So far the leather is standing strong where other gloves would have holes in every finger tip!
These gloves will change your life. Don't believe me? Buy a pair - I dare you.
These are the type of gloves that cut a cord of wood at 10 below in the morning, then rush to the mountain for some hot laps in the afternoon. The gloves that handle a 5AM ski tour just as well as they handle pulling someone out of the ditch on the way home, and the four pack by the bonfire that inevitably follows. These gloves don't make you choose between work and play, they truly do it all.
There winter gloves. I have another pair 3 years old. They never leave my side. The goat skin unbelievably durable. The customer service the best. Great little company. I’ve told all my friends.
Don't think I could be anymore smack dab in-between sizes! Last year I bought a pair of small chopper mitts and used them in all season. Because of how tight my chopper were when I first started using them I went with a size medium lined Tuthill's. Even though I've already conditioned and waxed them, the medium's are too big and I should have stuck with the smalls. I'll make it work but just another friendly reminder to triple check your size and don't hesitate to reach out to them for their recommendation and or support. Love and light.
As soon as I bought these I oiled them up and put them in the oven and forgot about them. Totally my fault. Unfortunately I never really got to wear them. I do love your gloves though! This was my second pair this year. Grateful for you all. I wish I could have gotten more time out of these. LOL at least longer than 3 days.
Love the fit and the warmth. The gloves are great for the 10-35 degree range. They are great for skiing and work in the winter. The leather on the palm has worn out quite a bit as seen in the photos. Hoping that the hold up well for the price.
These gloves, at first, were the strangest thing I’d ever seen-One of a kind. Before putting them to work they got conditioned and bathed in Skidmore’s Beeswax Waterproofing. It was an awkward break-in period as the gloves felt a bit clumsy but now, after some use they have started to take shape and feeling more and more natural. These gloves are clearly ‘made-to-last’. I am looking forward to seasons of use.
All good things take time to shine, but are worth the wait. These gloves are no different. A few afternoons of splitting firewood, or a weekend spring-cleaning that pile of stuff that got forgotten about after the first snow last fall, a good coat of neatsfoot oil, and these gloves are married to your hands. I will always have a pair as long as they're being made. And if I ever hear they're going out of business, I'll buy ten pairs.
Love my Tuttles! I have worn them daily for about a month, as my go to do it all glove. They have performed great from Downhill and back country skiing to hunting, wood splitting, and dog training. They are surprisingly warm and waterproof, and well built. I definitely buy them as gifts for a few skiing and hunting friends. Nice job!
These gloves are my second pair as I list the first pair. They are warm, durable, waterproof, just a workhorse of a glove. You won’t be disappointed. Tending livestock morning & evening these gloves are ready!!
I have the Tuttle and the jefflo depending on how cold it gets. Love them both! Got the care kit and it’s phenomenal! I plan on getting the Vermonter closer to summer
I do forestry work 10+ hours a day, was tired of buying gloves 4 or 5 times a year. They never last. Finally bought a pair of these and after 3 months of heavy use they still look perfect. I did the water proofing as recommended and I’ll probably do that a couple times a year. They should last a long time. Even if I have to buy a pair once a year (I doubt it) I’ll still be spending less money than I did buying cheaper ones. 10/10 would recommend, they have stood up to everything I’ve thrown at them so far.
I'm a commercial HVAC technician and I bought these gloves to wear during the frigid western NY winters. While these gloves don't allow for the dexterity needed to handle small parts and hardware, they are well crafted and warm. I applied some leather waterproofer them and appreciate the way they are breaking in. 5/5 stars.
I gave these to my son who has worked holes through every glove he has owned up to now. He loves the thickness of the leather but also the flexibility to do his outside work. He also likes the care kit so that he can extend the life of these well used gloves and keep them supple. These are definitely an upgrade from anything you can get at a hardware store and are built for rugged use. I would recommend them for anyone looking for gloves that will last and protect your hands from the elements, spiky plants, and the cold!
This is my third pair of these and they are built to last! I do a lot of cord wood and I was going through a pair of hardware store gloves every few weeks it seemed and these last me a year if not 2.
Great product and made in Vermont!!
Bought two pair of Vermonts, one lined the other not, took the time to waterproof them and they are superb, use them on the farm, in the snow, driving and anywhere they are needed, they are the best !!!

Very well made but far too thick and heavy for the use I originally intended. Needed somthing to keep the dirt out when landscaping this summer. My oversight as I didn’t realize these are lined. I’ll hold onto these for shoveling snow and working outside next winter.
These gloves are amazing quality and will last a long time! I am definitely willing to pay more for great quality gloves and mittens from Vermont Gloves!
