Sizing Guide
The most accurate way to determine your glove size is to download and print our hand tracing template.
Love these mittens! I was a bit weary about switching brands of mittens but these are amazing. My hands are plenty warm. I love the canvas cuff, it protects snow from getting in my mitten and is super easy to slip on and off - I don’t need two hands to get them on. I would highly recommend.
These gloves are well constructed but lacking for the price point. The fleece liner inside is on the thinner side, and I feel they are falsely advertised. I wear these gloves in 40*-15* temperatures, but nothing colder than that. Size up if you would like the option of a liner.
The first step if you're someone teaching your wife how to ski: make sure she's comfortable. The second step: make sure she's stylish. These gloves did both. My wife is tiny (5'2" 105lbs) so she had to get custom gloves, and y'all were super helpful. Her hands were almost too small for the gloves but they made it work. My wife absolutely loves these mittens, meaning selfishly I get the best of both worlds: my wife now loves skiing, and she talks about getting ME a pair of these gloves. Can't wait.
I purchased my pair to use while skiing this winter and so far I have been very impressed with their thermal capabilities and overall fit and finish. These are high-quality gloves that turn heads wherever you go!
Recently my daughter was on her 2nd day with a brand new pair of Jefflo mitts while skiing at Schweitzer resort in northern Idaho and was attacked by a coyote that jumped on her out of nowhere. It first bit her leg but she grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and then it went for her hand and wrist. While the animal managed to get its teeth into her, it could have been much much worse. She believes the mitts were what enabled her to wrestle the coyote off of her and get away. Anyhow, I thought you'd want to know and see the mitt. While your ad mentions, she didn't 'grab a porcupine by the horns' but she did manage to wrestle with a coyote and get it off of her!
Well made from locally available materials and made here in the United States. They keep your hands warm and dry, but make sure that you apply a good/multiple coating(s) of neatsfoot oil before you apply the water proofing. Pay close attention to all the seams when applying the neatsfoot oil and waterproofing. When sizing and ordering you might want to size up to the next larger size if you intend to add an additional liner. The bottomline is Vermont Gloves makes best mittens that I have ever owned. A special thanks to all at Vermont Glove, and all my best and warmest wishes.
Thank you again,
Gary
p.s. And who knows, maybe a pair of Vermont Gloves might be in my near future?!
Great customer service, quality product! I wish the gauntlets were longer, they get all bunched up and expose my wrists. I'm gonna modify! Otherwise, excellent!
Love these gloves! They kept my hands toasty even on the coldest of days this past winter. Super durable, comfortable and heck you look good wearing them!
The glove is made strong and lasting of high quality standards, but I felt that it didn't keep my hands warm enough especially my fingers during cold days when hiking and they were a bit tight for me putting on and taking off. Overall, I'm still glad I bought them, because these gloves will last me a long time.
Well-built gloves and quality materials, as advertised. Worth the price, and the gauntlet wrist extensions work as I'd hoped to keep wind and snow from blowing up my sleeves when mountain-biking/commuting. I'm 6'-3" and have long fingers, so I bought the XL to allow room for an additional (thin) wool mitten insert and a chemical handwarmer pack. Worked well as the finger space (i.e. the Iength) in the XL is VERY long and leaves a good inch or so extra space beyond my fingertips even when my fingers are curled around the bike handgrips. If I were just using them for regular activities I'd have ordered a Large, not an XL.
Yes these are expensive but you can not put a price on keeping your hands warm. I just spent several days working in AK where the average temperature was 12-17 degrees below zero. My hands were warm and dry. Treat them as instructed and they are waterproof and last a long time. I now have 5 pairs of various models.
LOVE my Jefflo Mittens! Ordered these for an ice fishing trip in northern Michigan. Super warm in single digit temps and the waterproofing worked great! The customer service team was awesome and expedited my order during the busy holiday season to make sure they arrived in time before my fishing trip!!
I've bought every style of glove Vermont Glove sells! I buy them as gifts and for personal use. I love them and every recipient of them, loves them as well! They are always well received! Thank you for making an outstanding product!
It's been -15°F the past few days where I live, not counting the wind chill which was -35°F this morning. I've been wearing my Vermont Jefflo choppers out and about and they are without a doubt best gloves I've ever owned. Surprisingly warm! I bought the wool liners also because I thought I'd need them but haven't used them inside my choppers a single time yet - no need to (so far).
Absolutely fantastic pair of gloves, the workmanship is amazing and worth the cost imo. I'm very happy. Thanks again!!
I've been looking for a glove/mitten since my neck surgery in 2019 that affected my hand circulation. These Vermont Jefflos are the exact thing I've been looking for. Tried many gloves but nothing cuts that stinging cold like these and when I couple them with a light merino glove underneath there's nothing like it. Thank you Randy Newberg for wearing these in your hunting videos and sparking my interest!

Very well constructed and waiting impatiently to put them to use this winter. Perfect glove for out feeding my cattle and dealing with baling twine. Looking forward to giving them that used look
