Revitalize and protect—our conditioner keeps your gloves supple and durable for the long haul.
Grease your Vermont Gloves and mittens to protect your hands so you can keep kicking ass. Fiebing’s Pure Neatsfoot Oil is the best leather conditioner we’ve found to replenish the natural oils in our leather gloves and mittens subject to rugged use. Fiebing’s is older than we are (no small feat), founded in 1895 and still made in Milwaukee, WI.
The gloves are fantastic, and the neatsfoot oil is the perfect accompaniment. I was nervous about putting oil on them, thinking it would make them feel greasy, but they absorbed it like a thirsty sponge and are now more pliable and luxurious than ever. Great advice.
I have tried may different gloves over the years, non of them can compare to the quality and durability of Vermont Glove! Thorns just are no match for them.
Very high quality product. Got gloves for my dad for a holiday gift. The conditioning oil that came with it was such a nice surprise for him. It took him back to his scouting days! He was very happy!
The Flatlander is holding well against buckthorn removal that we do this time of year. I will have to invest in a pair of Vermonters with liners, when winter sets in.
i have used this oil several times. have had the Vermonter gloves (from VT live in CA) for several years and use them all the time (at home and at work). Skis gloves of mine kept falling apart so i bought the Tuttle's with the oil for skiing. If you are on the fence, just buy them, they will last for years.
Only one suggestion/complaint, it would be great to have a different top for the conditioner. It’s really hard to pour and get it to not just go everywhere except the gloves. Maybe it’s because I have an xs and it’s a smaller target 😄
I admit, though I’ve bought gloves for family members, do not own a pair. However I bought the leather conditioner for a leather-topped antique trunk I own. It works perfectly! First product I’ve used that really softens and preserves the old leather! Thank you! Love it!
Gloves are unbelievable. Love them.
But a word on sizing: I am always a large size and am usually a 9 or 9 1/2. So I just ordered the large Vermont glove. However as I started using them, I realized they are a bit big for me and maybe I would have done better with a medium. So a word to the wise- really measure your hand as per the Vermont glove website as these gloves run big.
I love my gloves and my friend who I gave an early Christmas gift, is so happy with with her gift. I know she is bringing the liners to London for a week!
I was watching David Muir on the news and he has a segment on “made in American” have you guys been featured? Let me know, ok? If not I will submit Vermont gloves next year. Very impressed with your company and products!!!!!
The neatsfoot oil from Vermont Glove is an excellent choice for for helping to keep my VG gloves clean and flexible after all the abuse they get. Recommended!
I bought this when I purchased my gloves. The first thing I did was treat them. The oil soaked in as it should and left my gloves so soft and more flexible then without it. I highly recommend getting the oil when purchasing your gloves. They weren't sticky after the application which to me is a huge plus.
