I blow through work gloves at a pretty rapid clip but chalked it up to the abrasive, wet/dry environment where they're used. I'd seen Vermont Gloves but balked at the price. A friend convinced me they were worth the spend and he was right. I found that they broke in quickly and have stayed supple despite getting wet a number of times. I've given them a thrashing and besides being dirty they aren't showing any signs of wear. Great product.

The shipping was super fast and we were able to give them to our dad for father's day. He's been wanting some for a very long time and he was thrilled! The fit and style is perfect!

Got a pair shipped promptly with oil and wool liners a couple few years ago. I treated them a few times with the oil and they are comfortable and soft. Also incredibly tough. Bought an old neglected farm. Since then I’ve been clearing several acres of bramble and trash willow, freeing old barns from blackberries, used a winch to haul out ax felled logs to clear the overgrown pond, etc etc, I wear them every day. They are dexterous enough to let me run my chainsaw and mill. I also wear them snowshoeing and for sipping fancy beers when in town. I’ve summited several “fourteeners” out west with them so now they are lucky gloves. Was going to head up Kilimanjaro with them but COVID-19 ended that idea, tickets were refunded, but I had to eat all the chocolates I had packed. Bought a pair for my wife she wears them for yard work and says they are just getting good after a year, still look new to me.

Nice but expensive have not really worked yet we will see if they stand up to wood hookin
Chad B.
Extremely well built and comfortable gloves!
Sarah M.
Sizing was accurate. Lovely quality, husband loved them.

My Vermont Glove Vermonters get keep getting better and better. I've owned them for about a year and half and use them pretty much every day for barn chores. Instead of showing wear, they instead are breaking in beautifully. They're the first line of defense and supremely well made. $100 may seem like a lot for work gloves, but they've been worth every penny!
Don
The gloves are pricey but well worth it. In this case you do get what you pay for.

Received prior to the "lawn season" in 2022. I run a small landscaping business and we cut 15-18 lawns per week and complete a few mulch jobs, and cleanups; these have been my go to gloves for this season so far.
The good - break in period was quick and they are holding up well so far, I did apply the oil a few times as directed, the leather is think so I regularly grab vegetation with thorns and they do not penetration - bonus. The length onto the wrist is a nice touch. I don't find them hot, we have had some hot days so far and I still wear them...
The better-if - either my right hand is bigger than my left or the glove is slightly smaller, I must put on the right hand glove first and pull it on with my un-gloved left hand - no big deal, but it doesn't slide on...
Buy Nice or buy twice - I usually go through 2 pairs of "big-box" gloves a year...while these were much more expensive, I hope to get a few years out of them with proper care. THANK YOU!
Cliff S.
Comfortable, durable. Still on course to be my "forever glove".
Jay S.
Great gloves. Very, very durable. I usually have to get new gloves each season, but these are barely broke in.
tiffany b.
fantastic quality; beautifully crafted
Aurora H.
Purchased 5 pairs! For myself and family...We all love, love, love your gloves. Comfortable, durable and go-to gloves for any reason. Fabulous product!
Colleen K.
I bought these gloves for my fiance and he can't say enough great things about them. I would completely recommend them to anyone who is looking for the best work gloves.
Chris T.
Worth every penny! Never gonna buy cheap work gloves again. You have a customer for life.
DAVID
When I ordered the gloves I used the size chart. When they arrived I tried them on and thought oh no they're tight. But now that I have been wearing them a bit they fit, well, like a glove. I love them!
Don S.
The best pair of gloves that i’ve ever worn.Very easy to work in.I finally found my gloves,no more looking.
Frank L.
The fit and finish seem excellent. I’ve worn them for about a week and am looking forward to seeing how the hold up to the rigors of residential tree work.
Jon K.
I used the template to choose my size and was confident I ordered the correct size but wish I would have gone a size smaller. I do really like them. I issued to go through a pair of gloves in a month to 6 weeks. I’ve had these for several months now and show no signs of being worn out. Actually, they’re just getting broken in
Kevin
Great gloves! Tough on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect for just about anything.
Jim
These babies are bullet proof. Treated them once w/ neatsfoot oil, softened up nicely. Just finished sorting out old bricks a friend wants to use - saved my hands, wore the gloves. The more I wear 'em, the more I love 'em.
Carlos N.
My gloves were replaced when I sent them in to be repaired.
They sent the old gloves back and didn’t charge me anything so I’m a happy customer. Thank you
Wayne M.
Great quality. Keep up the good work
peace b.
I have purchased your amazing gloves for both our son and son in law..the gloves have passed muster with flying colors! both men use their gloves hard and the gloves stand up to the test! Have you heard from anyone who doesnt like them??? I doubt it!
Whit A.
Best gloves ever. Customer service was top notch and quick
Lionel W.
Well made,USA product!!

TOP NOTCH GLOVES PROUDLY MADE IN USA
John J.
W/ the snuggly wool liners I was able to actually enjoy recreational snow shoveling @ 12 degrees in a strong February wind blowing off the Detroit River. Somebody rolled by in one of those tracked , ‘Bobcat’ mini-snowplows & generously offered to help me clear out the parking lot I was working on.
Suddenly inspired to pretend I was John Henry… I said, “ No thanks. My gloves are from Vermont.”
Rayna M.
These gloves are well worth the monty. They are super tough but feel so comfortable. I'm tempted to buy a second pair just to have on hand for when these wear out (if ever). The best work gloves.
Holly
Softer each day, warm be in winter without the liner. Thinking about Christmas presents already.
Matt L.
I haven't had them for a year, yet. If they last a year without my fingers wearing through, I'll buy two more pair.
Art S.
Wore the gloves this morning to build a foot bridge. They were great and attracted favorable comments from a co-worker, who I expect will be placing an order soon.
Nick B.
Amazing product with quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. Used regularly for a 6 months or so and no signs of wear. I'm confident these will last several years. Worth every penny.
Richard Clark R.
I am a deckhand on a large towboat on the lower Mississippi River in the turn trade. Working on tow (a group of barges) is extremely hard on gloves, and your hands if you are not careful. Your gloves do an incredible job of protecting my hands, and last MUCH LONGER than any other gloves I have used. I love your product, keep up the good work.
Jack B.
The best gloves I’ve ever owned
John R.
Vermont Gloves are about as comfy and rugged as they come. So well made, and here in Vermont, by a company that has earned a terrific reputation. Don't leave home without a pair!
CARMINE S.
I gave the gloves to my brother on the occasion of his 80th birthday; he was most happy and a bit overwhelmed that I would give him such and excellent gift. He was used to buying 5$ gloves and then would hold them together with duct tape so these are definitely a very big step up!!!!
Aram B.
These gloves are the best work gloves we've ever had. We have his and hers gloves, with one pair in a custom size. Several applications of neet's foot oil make them nice and flexible.
Paul D.
May very well be the best gloves I've ever purchased. Fit, quality, and customer service are excellent. I loved talking to the gentleman in the shop, so helpful, felt like talking to an old friend!
Thanks much
Debra F.
I have never found gloves that truly fit my hands. I didn’t quite line up with the sizing online but gave VT Glove a call and they set me up with a custom size. My XS - Short fits, well, like a glove! Couldn’t be more happy with my gloves. Thanks VT Glove!
Richard M.
Well put together!!
Art P.
The gloves meet the tests so far. Two weekends worth of use shoveling coal on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway are shown in the photo. The gloves are soft, supple and rugged. The real test will be how they hold up through Columbus Day.
scott b.
Everything just as advertised!
Thanks
James S.
The best gloves I've ever worn. And made in the USA.
Kristin Gaugler K.
This was second pair I bought for hubby (who promptly lost the first pair but I know someone is enjoying them instead) and he is beyond happy..I think I will need a new pair myself again soon. The right hand middle finger is getting thin at the tip, but I understand that is the trade off for soft and flexible fingers. Thank you muchly.
James S.
Well made and will be a good addition to my gloves when the weather gets cold.
James S.
When you want the best gloves around these are it. Yeah they cost a lot but they outlast any glove I've ever worn. The are made in the USA and I am glad to support this company. If you work with your hands and protecting them is important, then these are the gloves you need. I've shown my gloves to friends and had to order four pairs since getting my first pair. Of course they pay for them but they were impressed and could see the quality. Get a pair and see what I mean. Also see how many friends and co-workers want a pair after seeing yours.
Richard M.
The gloves are heavy duty and very stout!!! I was afraid they would be very hot down here in South Texas, but I was very surprised and they are not!! Well made and you all should be very proud of them!!!
Steve G.
Exceptional quality
Keith E.
Great gloves. I got the custom sized option. Turned out perfectly. Best fitting gloves I’ve ever had.
Steve G.
Quality construction.
eugene Z.
They’re made in the USA they’re soft and supple and strong they hold up to getting wet and keep on working ‼️
Mark D.
Sizing is perfect - gloves are thick and durable, but also incredibly soft - I look forward to using them for a long time to come.
Peter D.
Hand crafted and tough. Great glove
Nancy P.
Good product with great customer service.
Will not buy any others, these are well made. Fit well.
Joe V.
I treated my gloves before using them, twice. Then I put these gloves through their paces. Incredibly hard Central Maine forest work. They stayed soft, held to my hand and never got stretched out or sloppy fitting. I let then dry over night as they were pretty damp but not soaking wet. I worked the oil in and the everything is great as new. I have not used the Bees Wax yet, but that is next.
Joe V.
I needed to use my gloves a few times to really let how great they are sink in. I could not be happier with my gloves. They were custom made for my hand which is short but wide. I have never in my life had a glove fit so perfectly. As the old saying goes: Buy quality and you will never be disappointed. You have two faithful customers for life, my wife and myself.
William F.
Best garden glove ever!!!
Luis S.
I’m a lineman apprentice I’ve put these bad boys to the test on the daily. These gloves are tough which is what I need to protect my hand while I’m busy being a bad ass. Will keep purchasing
Hilliary O.
Love them! Have yet to use them for a full season, but they have broken in nicely. My partner seems to be saving them since they are so lovely. They are soft, easy to move in, and feel super sturdy. We purchased the oil and beeswax to go with and I think that is the right choice. It seems like these protections will help with durability and waterproofing tremendously. So excited to work in a pair of gloves that will last longer than a season!
Angel S.
This are the best gloves I have ever had. Comfortable and I can handle things in the yard without worries about getting thorns and spikes in my hands.
Theresa S.
My husband loves them for splitting and stacking wood and whatever outside work he has to do! Great product!
Kevin L.
The gloves are wonderful but the problem I had was I guess self induced as I got one size to big. That said your customer service was excellent.
All the best
evin
Rachel K.
Love the goat skin. Soft!
Jeffrey R.
The most comfortable and toughest glove there is. I keep buying them as gifts.
Joe D.
The best leather gloves I have ever used. The price hurts but in the end they are the best.
Joe D.
These gloves are amazing
Ron W.
Very well made. I initially ordered the wrong size and promptly contacted Vermont Glove to exchange the gloves. The exchange was seamless and i was not charged shipping for the replacements. At first the new pair seemed to be too tight, but they soon stretched a bit and now, um, fit like a glove. I use them when handling cut logs and clearing brush. They are perfect for this. Highly recommended, and well worth the price. The extra length protects my wrists and the great fit keeps them from sliding around when handling small logs and heavy brush.
Stephen K.
Great fit. Solid construction yet excellent dexterity.
And made/delivered quickly.
Best work glove I've had.
Leon H.
not my gloves. bought as a gift. bought because supposedly made in Randolph, VT
Rob Mazzetti R.
These gloves last about 2 months' of heavy use. They break in to a comfortable fit and fight off what Texas brush, trees and stinging nettles have to offer. Great gloves. I should sign up for auto ship.
Richard C.
The main thing I enjoy about my Vermonter Gloves is the safety of my hands and fingers. Whether it’s using a hammer and chisel, sharpening an axe or shovel, or moving/laying block or stone, I know if I miss my hands are protected. I’ve had them for a couple years now, and they have held up great, actually more comfortable with age.
William T.
Best I've ever had.
Alicia N.
VERY pleased. Quality and customer service were fantastic. Gloves truly customized to fit perfectly. Quality well worth the price.
Fred B.
Excellent fit and quality. Great, responsive service from Vermont Glove. Expensive up front......time will define ultimate value.
Diane S.
After ordering many different type of work gloves for my husband (in the wood business) the Vermont gloves hold up the best and longest. The price is a little steep but worth it. Thank you.
Tom M.
I’m retired from construction work but now working with off road 4x4 trail maintenance crews. I can’t think of any manufacturer of work gloves that can hold a candle to Vermont Gloves.
I beat the #&@% out of my gloves and these just look up at me and say “ Is that all you got buddy?” Six stars ⭐️
Richard V.
Very comfy and high quality.
Robert M.
I finally ponied up for these nice work gloves. Had been using cheap Asian made gloves that were ill fitting and always left a concerning dye stain on my hands after use. The Vermont gloves fit great and are obviously well made. No toxic dye residue. You get what you pay for and they ultimately are not that expensive when you factor in improved function and durability. Plus, it’s more important than ever to buy USA made products when the option exists.
lance S.
Awesome gloves! They are a little pricey but well worth it.
Tobias S.
I am a heavy equipment operator business owner as well as a cattle men, from moving brush, dirt work, pipeline, and fixing barbed wire fence I am surprised with the comfort and durability so far! Far exceed any other leather gloves I own (Giver).
Edward B.
Awesome gloves there is no better and I love the business plan and maid in USA
Adam W.
the only thing this glove is missing is a way to clip them onto a pack. other than that it’s a phenomenal glove so far.
Frank W.
Great gloves, I have been getting these for 25 years, usually getting 2 years out of a pair. My last pair developed a hole, but not a problem, I just sent them back and they repaired and returned them. At no charge! I have large hands, and fit is always an issue, tractor supply type gloves that say XL just don’t fit, but these are perfect, even allowing for a thin pair of liner s for the colder months. If you want to impress a friend or colleague that works with their hands, get them a pair as a gift, and see the reaction when they pull them on...
